In 1977 he earned his B.A. degree from Milligan College,
In 1983 he received his M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Slippery Rock University,
In 1990 he completed a two year program in Somatic process - combining Gestalt, Feldenkrais, Rubenfeld & Alexandria Methods.
In 1992 he completed a two year internship as a Trainer in Somatic process.
He has been a practicing counselor for over 35 years. His experience includes work with: adolescents, unwed mothers, Addictions: drug, alcohol, sexual eating disorders, smoking, gambling, co-dependency and ACOA issues, Marital and Relationship issues.
His practice also focuses on Trauma resolution.
In October 2012 he was certified in Clinical Hypnosis by the Wellness Institute in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy.
In March 2014 he completed a 2 year internship program earning him a certification as an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist.
In January 2015 he received his certification as a Leader in Personal Transformation Intensives by The Wellness Institute.
